PANEL: How to Get More Brands in the Game Advertising (Hint: Re-Frame The Conversation)

The data is rock solid to prove the diverse audience, consumer engagement and effectiveness of game advertising, yet many agencies and marketers run from advertising on games for all the wrong reasons. As an industry, we must unite to better present the game advertising value proposition. This panel with industry leaders from the IAB Game Advertising Committee will discuss what the game industry as a whole needs to do to help agencies and marketers become more understanding, receptive and excited about advertising with games – the most engaging content out there.  Panelists will share specific examples of stories/sales angles that have been compelling to attract interest and dollars from brand advertisers beyond just the stereotypical young male targeted brands.  We’ll highlight ways to reframe the conversation to overcome some of the key obstacles and share some examples of impactful brand advertising.
